Art Lover's Desert Home - Informal Dining Room

Partially surrounded by a curved bay of windows, this more informal dining area serves the homeowners for casual dining. The line of sight from the entry carries the viewers eye through this space, to the artwork in the owners landscape, across the golf course and to the desert mountains beyond.

We chose to create a dynamic silhouette against the dramatic background setting. The geometric shapes of the custom table and chairs-covered in a Pindler & Pindler fabric- are showcased nicely against the windows. The shutters allow the owner to have an open view yet allow the light and sun control needed in this south facing exposure. A wonderful glass sculpture is displayed on the 6' round wood table.
