This northern California home is full of lovely inherited American antiques. Our gracious client desired a kitchen that would work with her antiques and, as the kitchen is open to the living and dining areas, impart a bit of understated elegance to the space.
We installed custom cabinets with a combination of light upper cabinets and the subtle glazed gray-green of the base and tall cabinets. The gorgeous marble counters are 3cm thick Calacatta de'Oro marble. We accented the square lines of the shaker style cabinet doors with square hammered pewter knobs. The new custom hood makes a nice focal point for the space.
This Napa kitchen works perfectly for our East Coast Transplant.
