Art Lover's Desert Home - Family/Media Room

The family room needed to serve several functions. The homeowners have a great interest in current affairs as well as being avid readers. This mandated comfortable seating, good lighting and a good media system. The area had to be cozy enough for 2 people as well as ample seating for their numerous friends and family.

We grounded this area with a boldly colored and nicely graphic Michaelian & Kohlberg rug from Floordesigns, Inc. Cabinetry was installed to store audio/video equipment as well as showcase smaller pieces of art. Ample comfortable seating along with a custom cocktail table - ready to accommodate a bashful dog under it- completes the family room space in this Art Lover's Desert Home.
