Coombsville Residence

This project was a wonderful cooperative effort between the clients, JS Design + Build, Cooney & Company, Christian Hedberg Landscape Design, and Ron Martino Interiors. JS Design + Build architecturally redesigned the interior and exterior of the home, specified new windows and doors, and remodeled the kitchen, bathrooms, and fireplaces.

The 1970's residence sits on a beautiful oak studded hillside in the Coombsville area of the Napa Valley. This area of northern California is known for its vineyard views and rural feel while still located within an hour's driving distance to San Francisco. The clients had lived in the home for many years and what was once relevant architecture and furnishings had become dated and faded.

JS Design + Build reconfigured several areas to create better traffic flow and utilize the available square footage for a more functional space. Walls were moved or removed, doorways were widened and made taller, architectural details were minimized, new steel windows and patio doors were installed, and the kitchen, bathrooms and fireplaces all were remodeled.
